Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! I was able to view the sea from every window in the casa. Beautiful sunrises, breathtaking starlit skies, crashing of the waves and whale watching was at its peak and absolutely amazing!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Thank you again!!

My wife and I had the first part of our honeymoon there and we already miss it. We stayed for 4 days and had reserved the largest room and it was more than enough for two people. The most amazing thing for us was how much wildlife we got to see & how beautiful the landscapes were. We saw 100s of Whales jumping from the water, eagles, jack rabbits, beetles, coyotes, foxes, lots of cows and donkeys, etc. The beaches were incredibly private, not uncommon we had the entire beach to ourselves or one other person. Not safe for swimming tho. Couldn’t recommend this location enough. Perfect if you are wanting to unplug, enjoy nature and take it easy. A few things we’d recommend: -Bring some games so you have an excuse to just hang around outside -if Olivia is available to make a meal I’d take her up on it! It was super tasty. -plan to get some groceries so you can stay home bound for a day or two. We made “lime squash” drinks: topicochico, lots of ice (at location), fresh limes, & sugar.

La estancia fue maravillosa. El lugar es muy bonito, limpio y bien cuidado. La atención fue excelente y realmente disfrutamos el espacio. Solo como sugerencia constructiva, sería ideal especificar claramente en la descripción que la propiedad cuenta con varios lofts y que áreas como la alberca y el jacuzzi son compartidas. Esto ayuda a que los huéspedes tengan expectativas más claras desde el inicio. Fuera de eso, todo estuvo muy bien. ¡Gracias por la experiencia!

What a pleasure it was to stay here! Even more beautiful in person! Took my gf on a 3 night getaway for her birthday (and surprise proposal! She said yes!). We were just in awe with the surroundings and space. The vibe was perfect. We rented the larger top floor space, which we enjoyed for a bit extra privacy. Michael, Manny, and the team were super helpful, and made this trip even more special! We already want to come back. Big thank you to the team there!!!

What a great vacation we had at Michael’s beautiful home. We feel totally relaxed and want to return as soon as possible. The architecture, pool and hot tub is incredible and views for miles. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Michael’s place was absolutely comfortable and well prepared for relaxation. The raw beauty surrounding the house is incredible. The house had all we needed to take some time and play at the beach, lounge by the pool, do yoga on the deck, or star gaze in the evening. The whale watching was incredible too. Michael checked in to make sure we had all we needed and Manny’s local knowledge was priceless. We hope to be back!!

Michael’s Airbnb is absolutely amazing. A paradise lost in nature. We had so many amazing experiences with the fauna. Olivia and Manny are super responsive, attentive and with great advices and care. If you choose that Airbnb for your dream vacation (disconnecting from the busy world or simply connecting with nature), this 1000000% what you want to book. We stayed at Casa Del Mar in October 2025 with our family (2 adults 3 children). The communication from the owner, Michael, and local guardian, Manny, was fantastic throughout the booking process and during our stay. They gave some excellent recommendations for local beaches/surf breaks/restaurants. The villa itself was stunning. The photos don’t do it justice. The design and decor of the apartment was very stylish, and felt really homely. The pool and outside areas were great with views across the hills to the ocean. It honestly could not have been any better! We will definitely return here.

Michael‘s Casa del Mar was a dream. We had a fantastic time there and didn’t wan‘t to leave. The Villa has a beautiful architecture and interior design, the surroundings are picture perfect and the beach is just a 5minute walk away from the villa. Michael as well as his staff were super communicative and provided a ton of useful information related to the villa, activities and recommendations. We had an unforgettable time at Casa Del Mar and will definitely be back in the future.

Kinda epic. I'd say more, but I don't want ya'll to rent it so I can come back every damn year. It's that good- if you are into the whole rugged beauty, solitude, and fabulous design thing. Plus, the hosts are very helpful. 10/10.

Our entire experience was exceptional. As someone who also offers a property on Airbnb, I was very impressed by how beautiful, and well maintained the property and grounds are. The already impressive pictures do not do it justice. It is also a terrific value. I went with a buddy, but will be bringing my family back for a visit in the future as well.

This location and house are truly remarkable. The 50-60 min. drive from San Jose takes you along world-class coastal scenes and into a remote, quiet desert escape. The architecture, decor and landscaping are top notch - with every amenity accounted for. The terrace pool is incredible, as is the ground floor hot tub. 2 of the best surf spots in the East Cape (Nine Palms and La Fortuna) are within a 20 minute drive. The beaches within walking distance of the house are pristine. We rarely saw anyone else on the beach. If you want a beach escape or desert escape - this is a wonderful spot.

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was incredible, in fact it exceeded our expectations. Michael’s home is one of the most architecturally beautiful, well-appointed, comfortable, and clean homes we have ever enjoyed staying in. It is completely off grid, zero other homes or people within sight, pure quiet and surrounded by gorgeous ocean/mountain views, yet has all amenities to make you feel connected if you want to be, including fast & reliable WiFi. Michael and his co-hosts Manny & Joshua were wonderful from booking through check out. They were proactive with communication and provided helpful tips. We would love to come back again soon & highly recommend Casa Del Mar!

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was absolutely beautiful with modern decor and amenities. Everything needed for our stay was provided as far as kitchenware and spices. There is filtered water provided in the kitchen as well. Our unit was on the top floor and largest. Stunning views from every window, including the ocean. The AC worked great to make it a very comfortable stay as well. No cell service in area but wifi at unit that worked great. Michael was very responsive during the booking process and provided options for restaurants in the area. Manny met with us upon check in and was very helpful. We were very relaxed while lounging on the deck and taking a dip in the pool to cool off. The stars at night are AMAZING. With no other buildings around, there is no light pollution and the stars were SO bright. We tracked several satellites in the sky. Location is remote & private reachable by dirt road. Rent a SUV. Definitely recommend if looking for an adventure with luxury!

Beautiful and comfortable home. Enjoyed all the outdoor spaces. Felt like our own mini resort. Location was quiet and peaceful away from town. Sun, beaches, stars and baja dirt roads far removed from Cabo resorts and bars.

Michael’s place is a dream. I’ve been coming out to the East Cape for about 15 years and this is by far the nicest place I’ve stayed. The kitchen and the grill are awesome for making meals. We surf, but if you didn’t, you could really spend the whole day happily on the porch looking at the ocean and then the stars. Every detail has been thought of. And he and Manny are wonderful hosts. Already figuring out my next stay!

Michael as well as his entire team (Hector, Manny, Juan) we're outstanding! Great communication, great follow-up, and overall couldn't have asked for better hosts. The home was not only beautiful but spotlessly clean. We not only enjoyed this stay but already planning our return.

Micheal’s Villa was amazing. The location is a little out there but we knew that upon booking. To the north is Cabo Pulmo, so beautiful for snorkeling/diving and all along the coastline are empty white sand beaches & great surf spots if there’s a swell. San Jose del Cabo is about an hour away for day trips and there are a few great restaurants nearby. The villa itself surpassed our expectations. Spacious, clean and meticulously designed, it came with everything we needed for our stay. The views are unbeatable, we were immediately relaxed. The only issue for us was the bees decided to take over the pool so it put limits on easy activities for our toddler, but that’s nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and Micheal was extremely responsive on any questions we had. An excellent stay, we will be back for certain.

This house is magical. Amazing amenities, whale watching like I’ve never seen before and so peaceful and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and will be back!!!

Wow, this property and location is simply stunning. Michael was very kind and communicative about arrival instructions, suggestions for restaurants and activities. The location is very remote (about an hour drive from San Jose del Cabo, 45 mins of which are on a rugged dirt road). So stocking up at the grocery stores before heading out there is key. Also, when you rent your car, let the rental company know where you are staying- they know what the roads are like and will give you an appropriate vehicle. The location is unbelievably beautiful. Ocean views with a constant stream of humpback and gray whales breaching directly in front of the house. The sunrise was spectacular, definitely worth waking up early to watch. The beach access is super easy and you will have the beach all to yourself. Whale watching, beachcombing, hot tubbing, repeat. Restaurants in La Fortuna were great, and we did an whale watching charter through East Cape Explorers that was 10/10.

Días para el recuerdo. Paisaje espectacular acompañado en todo momento por las indescriptibles imágenes de las ballenas desde todas las zonas exteriores e interiores de la casa. Se respira paz en un entorno único en el que una edificación moderna y autosuficiente se mezcla con esa naturaleza desértica y marítima del East Cape. Y ni que decir que uno se siente cuidado por el equipo el cual está pendiente en todo momento para el relax e información que necesitas.

I've never written a bad review for Airbnb; however, I can’t in good conscience promote this host. If you want a quiet, peaceful getaway, it’s not guaranteed. We had 4 days of noisy construction, a cold hold tub, the host (Michael) misquoted an upgrade, accused us of being "uncomfortable" with Mexicans when we complained of the construction noise, mocked my wife in front of other guests and entered our space w/o knocking. There were so many issues that he asked us for an "exit interview" on our last day, to learn from our experience. Completely oblivious that this would further inconvenience us, we declined, but offered to meet over zoom that weekend. He never took us up on the offer. When we hadn't immediately written a review, he tried to convince us to write a good one, "aside from the construction, you seemed to have a great time." This only confirmed how out of touch he was with our experience at his property. There are plenty of beautiful places in this area - look elsewhere.

Luxury has come to the East Cape. We loved our week staying at this amazing loft. We felt completely at home. Watching the whales jump right from the breakfast table was a real highlight. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner, and the outdoor dining table was the perfect place to enjoy it with its sweeping views of the sea and mountains. The bedroom and bathroom are expertly appointed with cozy linens and the extra pillows are a very thoughtful touch. Relaxing at the beach during the day was made easier with the provided beach chairs and beach umbrellas. On the extra hot days, a plunge in the pool with a view was only outdone by a relaxing evening in the hot tub. Our hosts could not have been more inviting. We look forward to returning to this amazing property!

Beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and landscaped contemporary newly built casa off the grid with all amenities of a luxury home to include an endless supply of purified water, hot water, internet, pool, Jacuzzi, laundry room & fully equipped kitchen. Stunning ocean & coastal views including both sunrises & sunsets. It has a nice blend of community and privacy with 4 separate living spaces, each including a kitchen & bathroom while offering shared pool & Jacuzzi terraces. The development is secure with a guard at the gate. The house stands by itself to create a pristine rural Baja beach experience. It is easy to walk to the beach from the house & from there you can walk for miles in each direction. Michael has a strong support staff both in San Jose & on the East Cape to include a caretaker & maintenance person. Both are very friendly responsive & accommodating to any needs via Whats App. We have traveled the East Cape for 18 years; this will be our most memorable stay!
