Casa del Mar is more than a villa — it’s your private perch above the Sea of Cortez, hidden within the gated community of Cabo Vinorama and perfectly placed halfway between San José and Cabo Pulmo.

Here, the modern comforts all in a setting that feels worlds away where the desert meets the sea, and the pace of life slows to match the rhythm of the waves. 

Wake up with the sunrise and wander down to the endless beach for a barefoot stroll. Snorkel in the clear shallows, or paddle out to surf our local breaks, “La Poza,” or “Punta Perfecta.” Linger by the infinity pool on the yoga deck as the sea glitters in front of you, or set off to explore — from the reefs of Cabo Pulmo to the beach and restaurants of La Fortuna.

Casa del mar consists oof  includes four lofts, for 8 adults plus juniors, giving you nearly 2,900 sq ft of indoor living space plus multiple terraces, gardens, and shared outdoor areas:

🌅 Grand Horizon Loft (1,400 sq ft): The heart of the villa, located upstairs. A spacious gathering space with a fully equipped kitchen, a large island and dining table that doubles as a perfect workspace, a comfortable living room with panoramic ocean views and a large-screen smart TV, a king bedroom with en-suite bath and dressing area, plus two private terraces — perfect for sunrise coffee or stargazing.

🌿 Serenity Loft (580 sq ft): An inviting ground-floor retreat with a king-size bed, kitchenette with dining bar, a cozy sofa seating area, en-suite bath, and a private terrace that opens to the jacuzzi.

🌊 Driftwood Loft (460 sq ft): A serene, beach-inspired loft featuring a king bed, kitchenette, en-suite bath, and private terrace — ideal for a quiet morning coffee or sunset cocktail.

🌺 Hideaway Loft (460 sq ft): Tucked away for ultimate privacy, with two twin beds (or a king upon request), kitchenette, en-suite bath, and its own secluded terrace. Perfect for kids, teens, or friends traveling together.

Note:
Casa del Mar is 40-50 minutes from San Jose on the unpaved picturesque East Cape Coastal Road half way to Cabo Pulmo. You will know you have arrived when you see Cabo Vinorama entry gate. You will be met there and taken to the house which is inside the gated property.

The beach, surfing, kiting, boarding and swimming just a 5 minute walk. You need to bring experience and  equipment.
Grocery shopping needs to be planned in advance. The caretaker will be there each day but Sunday. 
Please consult us before you arrive to clear up any doubts you may have.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house and location were incredible and perfect for our needs. Olivia and Manny were available whenever we needed anything and Michael the host was friendly and proactive in his communication. We will be back and love the option of returning to rent any one of the units separately.

We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning new home on the magical, remote coastline of the East Cape of Baja. The house itself is beautifully designed and impeccably appointed—every detail feels thoughtful and luxurious. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, which made the space feel especially comfortable and private for our group. The views from the patio are absolutely breathtaking—endless ocean stretching out before you, perfect for morning coffee or sunset drinks. Michael and the crew’s communication was great, and Manny, the house manager, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He gave us a thorough tour of the property and even made sure the jacuzzi was heated and ready for us on arrival. That extra touch made all the difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with unbeatable coastal views, Casa del Mar is the place. Can’t wait to return!

Truly exceptional place here! Pictures don’t do it justice. Michael has gone above and beyond to make an amazing home on one of the most beautiful coastlines. The house and everything inside is brand new. Very well stocked for cooking and all your needs. Juan and Many were very helpful and checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. This place is paradise - just book it! We will be back.

Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en Casa del Mar. La ubicación en Vinorama es perfecta para conectar con la naturaleza, con vistas increíbles al Mar de Cortés, el desierto y la Sierra de la Laguna. La casa está en excelentes condiciones y pudimos disfrutar de caminatas a una playa espectacular. Nuestra parte favorita fue la terraza con la alberca, ideal para relajarse después de un día de playa. La cocina está muy bien equipada y no nos faltó nada. Además, ¡los colchones son súper cómodos! Recomendamos Casa del Mar para quienes buscan una experiencia auténtica en Baja California Sur.

We were extremely happy with the place. Everything about it was perfect for us. New construction, lots of beautiful details, so much privacy, and a view beyond words. There is a nice surf break within the development, with another world class break around the corner. Michael, Gloria and the whole team were extremely attentive to our needs and to making sure we had the best time possible. The house is new and if anything was not clear or didn’t work in the ideal way, someone was available to fix it immediately. Really a five star experience. The only complaint is that we had to leave. We would love to spend so much more time in the beautiful home in paradise. Starting with the design, the house is beautiful, clean and minimal. It’s very well thought out with each apartment having its own kitchen and bathroom. Amazing for families and groups. Also with lots of room to sit comfortably outside, in the shade, in the sun, in the pool, together, or separate, so many options. We love it!
